DWP to create £375m Estates Contractor Framework

The Department for Work and Pensions has announced it is looking to put in place a new estates contractor framework to provide minor works and capital projects. Alongside all ancillary and incidental works and/or services, this framework will cater for DWP’s estate, and will be made available to other government bodies.

It is envisaged that the £375m framework will comprise 8-12 candidates, and it will be active for 48 months.

The framework is split into three lots:

  • Regional Minor Works Projects and Programmes (£0 – £250,000 per task order)
  • Projects and Programmes (£250,001 – £2,000,000 per call-off contract)
  • Major Projects (£2,000,001 – £8,000,000 per call-off contract)

Regional Minor Works Projects and Programmes includes low value, non-complex minor works projects of a short duration for both corporate and back of house offices and front of house offices.

Projects and Programmes includes refurbishment and/or rebranding work for existing networks and fit-out of new offices in support of network estates functions.

Major Projects includes commercial office fit out projects for the regional/corporate centre offices and processing centres.
