Manchester Airport Group seeking IT service providers for £19million framework

20th June 2018

The Manchester Airport Group (MAG) are inviting expressions of interest for a five-year, £19m contract to support and deliver their IT infrastructure programme.

They are looking to appoint capable and experienced IT service providers for installation, implementation and testing of the programmes at their three airports – Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted.

The contract also covers the integrated design, provision of hardware and software, systems integration, transitioning and decommissioning of the programme.

Though MAG have confirmed that the framework will be divided into two lots, interested parties may submit tenders for both.

Each lot will last five years in addition to two, one-year extension increments.

Requests to participate must be submitted by 27th July and it is envisaged that six candidates will be invited to formally bid two weeks later. Tenderers must maintain the tender for at least six months.

The procurement process will be carried out via MAG’s online tender management system, MAGSource.

MAG is the largest UK owned airport operator and sees 58m people flying through its airports each year on top of the 40,000 staff it employs.
