NHS release prior information notices for four contracts worth over £29billion

NHS Arden GEM CSU, on behalf of NHS England, is inviting expressions of interest for the delivery of specialised commissioning services frameworks valuing more than £29b over four years.

 

The four frameworks are divided by area: North, London, Midlands and East, South.

 

North – 11 lots totalling £862.157million

 

London – 34 lots totalling £10.993b

 

Midlands & East – 40 lots totalling £9.491b

 

South – 44 lots totalling £7.669b

 

The procurements come under NHS England’s Light Touch Regime in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

 

Lots that are on offer cover a range of services including cancer treatment, specialist HIV services, complex disability equipment and neonatal critical care. A full list of the services that will need to be met can be found via the NHS Arden GEM CSU website.

 

The maximum number of tenders that may be submitted for each framework is five and a total of three lots may be awarded to one tenderer per contract.

 

The initial duration of the contract will be for a period of between two and three years – 2019-21. The commissioner has the option to extend the contract for up to two further years.

 

The time limit for expressions of interest has been set for 5pm on 14 September.
