£40m Renewable Energy framework announced

Procurement for Housing has announced a framework focused on electricity, heating, solar and nuclear energy. The framework is worth an estimated £40m and will be spanning across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

 

This framework aims to deliver efficient heating and energy solutions for the nation, while prioritising sustainability.

 

A diverse range of services will be delivered across the following lots:

 

  • Solar Thermal
  • Heat Pumps and Biomass Boilers
  • Insulation
  • District heating
  • Electricity storage
  • Micro-combined heat and power solutions
  • Metering and billing
  • Solar PV
  • LED lighting
  • Electric Vehicle charging points
  • Funding and Grant consultancy (separate lots for England excluding London, Greater London, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)
  • Technical consultancy (separate lots for England excluding London, Greater London, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)

 

All contracts cover 48 months and may be renewed after 2 years with the option of 2×12 month extension periods.      

The deadline for receipts of tenders and requests to participate is 21st June 2019.
