MoD seeking airport engineering framework, value of up to £100m

The Ministry of Defence are seeking a provider for a airport engineering service in Oxfordshire. This contract has a value of £40-100 million.

 

The MoD are looking for a company to provide support at RAF Brize Norton. This air base is home to a mixed fleet of aircraft. this fleet constitutes the majority of the air mobility force that is used to provide rapid global mobility, including Air to Air Refuelling (AAR), in support of operations and exercises both abroad and in the UK. The services required under the contract include, but are not limited to:

  • aircraft maintenance support,
  • off-aircraft mechanical and electrical/electronic support,
  • airfield support and operation; motor transport operations and maintenance,
  • logistic support services,
  • armoury support,
  • media and photographic services,
  • supply services support,
  • airport support services,
  • fuels and lubricants; and general support.

The contract is for a period of 3 years, subject to options for the authority to extend. The anticipated contract start date is 01 August 2021.
