Engineering and construction framework worth £400m open for bidding

Essex County Council is seeking providers for a highway construction framework. This framework is valued at £400 million.

 

On behalf of the Eastern Highways Alliance (EHA), Essex County Council, will be seeking contractors to undertake highways works including structural work, surfacing, road works and capital schemes for highways. The following local authorities are the current members of the EHA: Cambridgeshire County Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Essex County Council, Hertfordshire County Council, Luton Borough Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council, Southend on Sea Borough Council, Suffolk County Council and Thurrock Council. The procurement for this is being led by Essex County Council on behalf of the current EHA. The contract is divided into the following lots:

  • Lot 1: Projects Valued Between £0-2m
  • Lot 2: Projects Valued Between £1.5-7m
  • Lot 3: Projects Valued Between £5-30m

The duration of this framework is four years.

 

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 14 February.
