East of England NHS launches £30m framework for Medical Equipment

The East of England NHS Collaborative Hub (EoECPH) is looking for a supplier of minor medical equipment, consumables and associated products. The value of the contract is for between £15m and £30m. This framework will also be open to access for other authorities and its use will be primarily for UK Ambulance Trusts. Some police, fire and rescue services will also be participating.

 

The EoECPH is working collaboratively with the National Ambulance Procurement Board on this procurement. The aim is to provide a procurement compliant route to market for UK Ambulance Services wishing to procure minor medical equipment, consumables, parts and associated products.

 

This procurement and the resulting framework is potentially for suppliers’ whole catalogues of products. Specific item pricing is not being requested as part of the Framework Agreement, although this will be requested under the provision for participants to run further competitions or direct award as required.

 

Products for supply include: first aid products, airway management, oxygen masks, backpacks, stretchers & spine boards, CPR, resus & ventilators and training books.

 

The closing date is 26 October 2020.

 

The contract start date is 1 December 2020.

 

Duration of the contract is 4 years.
