Mark has extensive bid management experience including proposition and solution based sales, gained within consultancy and system integration companies, to markets including Central Government, Local Government Defence, Healthcare and the Private Sector.
He has negotiated full service outsourcing contracts and delivered contracts during transition, migration and securing of new services. Mark has worked internationally, selling, bidding and implementing world leading technology projects across Europe, South America and Asia. He has approximately 20 years experience working in the academic, research and commercial worlds. Mark has carried sales targets and has consistently achieved beyond target. He has undertaken several roles during his career from leading research into new radar technologies through to sales, marketing and bidding securing annual sales of in excess of £100M achieved through framework wins such Buying Solutions and other government frameworks.
Trish has more than 25 years experience working in bid management, sales, business development, IT, education, and project delivery. This range of experiences gives her a multi-dimensional view and capability, enabling Trish to deliver high quality, personalised, winning bids for the Public Sector, frameworks and commercial organisations. Her bids achieve high quality marks and have had feedback such as ‘it felt like you really understood us’ from clients.
Trish’s hands on experience in project and bid management mean she understands the need for clear process management and how to deliver bids and projects on time. Whilst her sales and account management experience mean she understands how to sell a solution and its benefits to a client.
Trish is CP APMP, FInstISMM, MCIPS and ILM qualified with experience of managing multi-national bids and projects for IT Solutions and Managed Services.
She is passionate about her work, able to work within a team or out on her own and is not afraid to think out of the box to meet client needs. Professionalism, time management, innovation and commercial acumen are all key skills that Trish brings to her work.
Micheline is a highly effective and efficient Bid Writer with solid experience of the bid management process. She is an experienced bid professional capable of contributing effectively to winning new business.
Micheline can work well as part of a team or independently, dependent upon client requirements. She has experience working on the end to end bid cycle documentation and administration.She uses her extensive bid writing skills to create winning responses for our clients.
Micheline is also able to assist on document layout, editing, proof-reading and production of professional documents
At the Bid Team, Carol is the Office Manager and so is responsible for all finance and administration matters.
Carol has 20 years’ experience as a software development professional working for a software house and at mainly city financial institutions as a project manager running both large and small projects through the full project lifecycle.

Jamie has a vast wealth of writing experience working having worked with a multitude of national media outlets in the journalism industry.
He looks after our website and social media platforms while also assisting with our bid writing processes.
Stephen is a former senior manager who has transitioned into a talented and experienced Bid Consultant. Since starting as an associate with The Bid Team early 2016 Stephen has been successful in writing and winning two major Government contracts as well as multiple bids in the engineering sector. Creative, literate, eloquent writer/proof reader/editor. Excellent communicator and presenter.

She has an enviable track record of helping clients win complex and high-value bids across a wide range of industries including: aviation, highways, rail, oil & gas, engineering, criminal justice, security, healthcare, utilities, recruitment and IT. She enjoys a high percentage conversion rate.
Cathy specialises in crafting credible, well-structured content for bids: ensuring the client’s win themes are captured and clearly articulated in order to help organisations increase their win rate and see the growth they desire. She has a detailed knowledge of the end-to-end bidding process in both the public and private sectors, and adopts a cohesive and consistent approach to bid writing to produce compelling, visually attractive bids.
She is an excellent communicator and presenter, and is highly experienced in delivering training courses covering all aspects of business writing, including bid writing, across the UK and Europe.
Cathy has also been involved in editing and reviewing technical documentation for conformance to industry-accepted standards. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC).
Deborah has 15 years’ experience in the communications industry, having delivered communications and marketing strategies since 2004. Her specialisation in stakeholder and internal communications makes her a valuable addition to any bid process. Her communication and marketing expertise will ensure any client’s branding is well-presented and relevant across all sectors.
Martin has a background in branding consultancy from 18 years in the design industry. He has experience of competitive tenders in the design, branding and advertising industries and brings a wealth of and experience of the private and public sector.
Martin specialises in ensuring that the voice, visual character and tone of the bid are consistent with a company’s aims and brand identity. His corporate guidelines for document production have been used in recent published best practice examples. He has worked at executive and board levels and is used to working in partnership with clients to achieve agreed SLAs and KPIs.
Tim is our Creative Partner here at The Bid Team and thus responsible for the inspiration and design of our clients winning submissions. With a long history of creating tenders which visually stand head and shoulders above the competition, Tim is a hugely valued member of the team who’s creative flair and attention to detail help to keep our clients coming back for each important bid.
Anne has worked extensively in human resources, organisational development (OD), change management, people development, communications and coaching in a variety of environments, with particular emphasis on implementing OD activities to enhance business performance.
She has worked as a member of the OD Team within a Transformation Programme for an international investment company with responsibility for developing and implementing communication strategies. She has also supported the HR and Training and Development functions in the global delivery and communication of management development, performance review, career development and HR effectiveness initiatives for a major oil company. Anne has developed major content for HCM bids and tenders for commercial and public sector customers.
Liz is an Associate at The Bid Team specialising in working with the Charity and Community Sector to produce winning bid themes that will excite and satisfy the customer. Her skills and experience as a senior manager in the private sector gives her an understanding of what makes a successful bid. She also has an awareness of the unique contributions the third sector make.
Liz has extensive management proficiency and knowledge of working across criminal justice in both the public and private sectors. As a member of an executive committee she has also reviewed the operational delivery across contracts with over 3,000 staff, ensuring operational performance meets the contractual requirements and financial targets.
