Mark has extensive bid management experience including proposition and solution based sales, gained within consultancy and system integration companies, to markets including Central Government, Local Government Defence, Healthcare and the Private Sector.
He has negotiated full service outsourcing contracts and delivered contracts during transition, migration and securing of new services. Mark has worked internationally, selling, bidding and implementing world leading technology projects across Europe, South America and Asia. He has approximately 20 years experience working in the academic, research and commercial worlds. Mark has carried sales targets and has consistently achieved beyond target. He has undertaken several roles during his career from leading research into new radar technologies through to sales, marketing and bidding securing annual sales of in excess of £100M achieved through framework wins such Buying Solutions and other government frameworks.
Carol is the office manager and is responsible for all finance and administration matters.
She has 20 years of experience working as a software development professional and project manager, running both large and small projects through the full project lifecycle.

Rob Terry is a senior bid manager with 20 years’ experience of improving complicated bids and identifying and controlling risks. Rob acted as bid manager assisting co-ordination of a consortium of companies tendering to the Ministry of Justice. He has also recently managed bids for Network Rail under the CP6 bidding round.
His breadth of experience enables him to operate in many business environments and technologies and his strong commercial skills and legal appreciation allow him to regularly take full control and responsibility for all financial and contractual aspects of bids. He establishes strong relationships at senior management and director level and integrates comfortably into diverse bid teams. Rob enjoys taking a pragmatic common sense approach, using plain English, and thrives on challenging bids.
Lorna is a senior bid writer with 19 years’ bid management experience across multiple sectors. Lorna is accomplished in identifying, developing and promoting the strengths, characteristics and business offerings of clients, by writing attractive and innovative bid responses. She has proven skills in producing and editing proposal content within complex business environments. Experienced in leading storyboarding sessions, participating in solutioning, key review meetings, content sign off and document production, she is a keen team player who adapts seamlessly to your ways of working. She has a proven track record for winning bids across NHS Frameworks, MoD, DoH, UKBF, Police, aviation, rail, private sector healthcare, retail and the security industries.
Martin has a background in branding consultancy from 18 years in the design industry. He has experience of competitive tenders in the design, branding and advertising industries and brings a wealth of and experience of the private and public sector.
Martin specialises in ensuring that the voice, visual character and tone of the bid are consistent with a company’s aims and brand identity. His corporate guidelines for document production have been used in recent published best practice examples. He has worked at executive and board levels and is used to working in partnership with clients to achieve agreed SLAs and KPIs.
Nicky has substantial experience of working with an extensive range of multiagency, community and staff groups in the education sector. Her ability to engage with and strengthen communities, shown in high-scoring surveys around the areas of community engagement, cohesion, and celebration.
Anne has worked extensively in human resources, organisational development (OD), change management, people development, communications and coaching in a variety of environments, with particular emphasis on implementing OD activities to enhance business performance.
She has worked as a member of the OD Team within a Transformation Programme for an international investment company with responsibility for developing and implementing communication strategies. She has also supported the HR and Training and Development functions in the global delivery and communication of management development, performance review, career development and HR effectiveness initiatives for a major oil company. Anne has developed major content for HCM bids and tenders for commercial and public sector customers.
Deborah has 15 years’ experience in the communications industry, having delivered communications and marketing strategies since 2004. Her specialisation in stakeholder and internal communications makes her a valuable addition to any bid process. Her communication and marketing expertise will ensure any client’s branding is well-presented and relevant across all sectors.
Tim is our Creative Partner here at The Bid Team and thus responsible for the inspiration and design of our clients winning submissions. With a long history of creating tenders which visually stand head and shoulders above the competition, Tim is a hugely valued member of the team who’s creative flair and attention to detail help to keep our clients coming back for each important bid.
Graham Johnson has worked in the Prison Service in the UK for over 34 years, 15 of which at senior penitentiary management level, giving him an unparalleled understanding of prisons. Any of our clients’ bids into the criminal justice sector will benefit from Graham’s detailed knowledge of prisons and criminal justice, ensuring the technical aspect of the solution is accurate and fully compliant. He has experience in managing prisons undergoing construction/refurbishment and training staff on imprisonment regulations, rules and laws. Graham is now an international consultant in penitentiary reform, with experience gained in Bulgaria, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, and many more countries.
Andy is a successful bid management, marketing and construction professional with a broad range of experience, having supported TBT bids consistently for the past 12 months.
Andy has a demonstrable track record of managing projects in a variety of sectors including highways and railway infrastructure; retail; housing and social housing; commercial property; education; manufacturing and logistics; local authority and healthcare.
Andy is an enthusiastic and intuitive leader who relishes the challenge and enjoys the potential and dynamics of teamwork. Commercially astute with an interest in the wider business arena having worked in a variety of Customer sectors.
During the past ten years Andy has established and led Bid Management teams and has been jointly responsible for the successful award of many major Projects as well as Framework and Term Contracts through demanding PQQ and Award criteria. He has a natural creative flair for writing and editing bid documents and enjoys a high percentage conversion rate.
