£19m Scottish framework for special-trade construction and facilities management

Scottish Borders Council has announced a new framework for special-trade construction work worth £19, 000, 000.

 

Scottish Borders Council has a wide ranging estate and an estimated annual budget for repairs and maintenance work of around £4, 700, 000. The council is thus seeking a multi-trade, multi-supplier framework for a reactive repairs and maintenance service, which can be called from as and when necessary.

 

The framework is separated into the following lots:

  • Electrical
  • One-stop multiple trades repair service
  • Network cabling
  • Arboricultural Services – Stump Grinding
  • Handy person services
  • Alarms, entry systems and CCTV
  • Decoration, painting, flooring
  • Blacksmith
  • Preservation, windows, glazier, fencing
  • Joiner and locksmith
  • Building services
  • Plumbing and draingage
  • Oil and Gas
  • Roughcasting and plastering
  • Roofing works
 

The contracts awarded will be valud for 24 months and may be subject to renewal.

 

The deadline for reciepts of tenders and requests to participate is 1 August 2019.
