The City of Edinburgh Council are launching a framework for the development of real estate valued at £170 million.

The provider is looking to appoint a suitably qualified development partner for the delivery of a major mixed use scheme on a 3-hectare site at Fountainbridge. The development requirements for the site comprise of at least 436 homes and a separate office building. The proposals also include retail and commercial space. It is expected that the development partner would construct approximately 177 affordable homes There also represents development opportunity with ground floor retail for the Council, the office space, remaining residential units, and ground floor retail/commercial space.

The duration of the contract is 4 years.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 15 November.
