MoD to launch machinery supply framework worth up to £4m

The Ministry of Defence, ISTAR, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Delivery Team are looking for a provider for the provision of machinery in a framework worth £2-4 million.

 

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Delivery Team (CBRN DT), from hereon are requesting the supply of Respirator Test Devices (RTD) used to test the fit factor of in-service respirators, including the General Service Respirator; the standard issue respirator used by British service personnel. The RTD is an air sampling unit which is the key piece of equipment in the Respirator Test Measurement System (RTMS). The authority require the supply of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) RTDs that must inter-operate and integrate with all components of the RTMS to meet the authority’s requirement.

 

The contract duration will be 18 months with all 350-500 respirators to be delivered by the contract end date.
