BBC seeking a developer for a computer game contract valued at £1.2m

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) are seeking a provider for a computer game development contract valued at £1.2 million.

 

The BBC requires a supplier to build, implement, host and support an online digital game for BBC sport. The concept is an interactive sports player selector game. The game will allow its participants to select players, earn points based on player performances, and compete in online leagues. The digital game will be accessed by players through both the BBC Sport website, and BBC sport app. The value of the contract also represents the potential for additional versions of the concept for other sports, and sporting events.

 

the duration of the contract is a year but is subject to renewal. The BBC may extend this agreement any number of times, up to an additional 36 months in aggregate.

 

The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 22 November.
