IT support framework in Birmingham worth £3.5m open for bidding

Joseph Chamberlain 6th Form College are seeking a provider for a technical computer support services framework valued at £3.5 million.

 

The college recently decided to outsource elements of the ICT support and a contract was let to provide escalated support. The College has now decided that it wishes to fully outsource the ICT, including TUPE of staff and full management, supply, support and installation of equipment. The procurement will be structured to focus on the college needs for ICT to support teaching, learning and management in both a cost effective and innovative way.

 

The duration of the contract will be for a maximum period of 5 years with a review at 3 years. The new service will have a start date of 1 September 2020.

 

The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 27 November.
