Facilities management framework worth £236m announced

This facilities management framework has been initiated by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and is valued at £236, 475, 000.

 

UCLH is procuring two facilities management providers to deliver hard and soft FM services to facilities located within the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster. The area to be managed is approximately 124 000 m² over nine main sites.

 

The primary purpose of the procurement exercise is to bring a high-quality standard of service to all areas with common practises and methodologies which can be monitored and measured accordingly. The Trust is thus seeking customer-focused service providers who are able to deliver innovative service solutions.

 

This contract is to be offered in the following two lots.

 

Hard Facilities Management

  • Hard FM core services – Sub-lot has an estimated value of £47 376 000. Services will include:
    • CAFM System
    • FM Helpdesk
    • Planned and reactive maintenance
    • Minor works projects
    • Major works projects
    • Grounds maintenance

  • Hard FM optional services – Sub-lot has an estimated value of £37, 575, 000. Services will include:
    • Management of utilities
    • Procurement of utilities
    • Metering services
    • Billing services
    • Bureau services

 

Soft Facilities Management

  • Soft FM Core Services – Sub-lot has an estimated value of £93, 870, 000. Services will include:
    • CAFM System
    • FM Helpdesk
    • Cleaning
    • Pest control
    • Portering
    • Mailroom services
    • Catering
    • Linen and Laundry
    • Security and manned guarding

  • Soft FM Optional Services – Sub-lot has an estimated value of £57, 654, 000. Services will include current in-house provision of:
    • Cleaning
    • Portering
    • Security

The awarded contracts will run for 60 months and can be extended up to 2 x 24 months.

 

The current deadline for requests to participate is 29 July 2019.
