MoD launch £7.9m defence framework

The Ministry of Defence are looking for a provider for a framework for the provision of education and training services. It is based in High Wycombe and valued at £7.9 million.

 

This framework will require suitably qualified and experienced trainers, who are competent in the use of modern technologically enhanced learning methods and possess a range of facilitation skills, all of which are designed to create the optimum learning environment. The academic support services required will therefore include:

  • delivery of specified air and space power objectives and learning points,
  • utilisation of technology enhanced learning and blended delivery methodologies,
  • development and maintenance of lesson plans and supporting material on the Virtual Learning Environment,
  • production and delivery of formative and summative assessments, and; organisation of coaching/developmental activities to maximise individual performance.

The duration of the contract is 5 core years plus two more 1-year options.

 

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 25 October.
