£1.33bn health framework in Maidstone open for bidding

Kent County Council are seeking a provider for a health contract based in Maidstone. This dynamic purchasing system is valued at £1.33 billion.

 

The Council are looking to improve health services in Kent. This will include residential care home services (learning disability, physical disability and mental health needs), supported living services, discharge support services and the community lunchtime service. This process will also include the opportunity to bid for care and support in the home services (Homecare and Community-Based SiS) across limited areas of Kent.

 

This framework is divided into 6 lots:

  • Lot 1: LD, MH and PD Residential Care Home Services (Specialist and Specialist Plus Needs)
  • Lot 2: LD, MH and PD Residential Care Home Services (Mid and High Level Needs)
  • Lot 3: Supported Living Services
  • Lot 4: Discharge Support Services
  • Lot 5: Care and Support in the Home Services — Community
  • Lot 6: Community Lunchtime Service

The duration of the contract is 4 years.

 

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 01 November.
