Large Birmingham utilities framework worth £1bn open now

The Energy Consortium are looking for a provider for a framework for the provision of Flexible Mains Gas and Electricity Contracts valued at £1 billion.

 

Currently, the authority has an OJEU framework agreements in place for the supply of flexible gas and electricity with a single source for each. Both of these frameworks will expire in September 2020.The procurement is divided into 2 separate lots:

  • Lot 1: Mains gas (flexible);
  • Lot 2: Electricity – including HH and NHH metered and UMS (Flexible including UMS).

The authority is seeking a single supplier for each lot with which it will enter into a framework agreement commencing on 01 October 2020.

 

The framework will run for a period of 2 years with an option for 2 (two) further 1-year extensions.

 

Those wishing to participate must submit tenders or requests to participate by 18 November.
