Sheffield social care framework valued at £3m open for bids

Sheffield Council are launching a health and social work services contract valued at £3m.

 

This service is for the young people’s substance misuse service. The aim of the service is to reduce the number of young people aged 18 and under who misuse substances and whose substance misuse impacts negatively on their lives, their families’ lives and their communities. This is done through prevention and early identification strategies and high quality, targeted interventions and specialist treatment. The service provider will be expected to provide early help and prevention through workforce development; training, consultation and resources to front line staff in schools and colleges and other organisations working with children and young people across the voluntary and statutory sectors.

 

This contract lasts until March 2030 and is subject to renewal.

 

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 20 November.
