Crown Commercial Services released notice for £11.4billion Workplace Services framework

Crown Commercial Services (CCS) have released notice for a £11.4billion Workplace Services framework.

 

They are seeking to establish a multi-supplier framework, with this being the second procurement to fall under the Facilities Management Marketplace. This will consist of a number of facilities management contracts accessible via an online portal.

 

The framework will be for an initial period of two years, with an option to extend for a further two years at the authority’s discretion.

 

CCS’s contract has been divided into three main lots, two of which contain sub-lots, and all three may be awarded to a single tenderer.

 

Lot 1 – Security (£1.5bn)

1a – Security services

1b – Technical security

 

This lot consists of two sub-lot covering a resource-intensive guarding services and requirements for technical security elements including electronic and physical security.

 

Lot 2 – Housing

2a – Defence housing management services (national)

2b – Defence housing maintenance services

2c – Housing maintenance and management services

 

Sub-lots 2a and 2b form part of the Future Defence Infrastructure Services Programme and the winning tenderer will be expected to provide a common user experience delivering customer, occupancy and void management services.

 

Lot 3 – Defence facilities management (£6bn)

 

This lot includes hard facilities management and will be split into four regions: South East, South West, Central, Scotland and Northern Ireland at the call-off stage.

 

There may also be international requirements.

 

The time limit for requests to participate is 19 October.
