MoD IT framework worth up to £1.5bn open for bidding

17th October 2019

The Ministry of Defence, Systems and Services, ISS Commercial Sourcing Team are looking for a provider for an information technology services framework in Corsham valued at £900 million with the possibility of it rising to £1.5 billion.

The MoD are considering revising the approach to contracting expertise in support of Digital and ICT Roles. The intention is to select a number of suppliers onto a Flexible Delivery Partner Framework (FDPF) covering all D&IT capability and expertise required to deliver MOD Digital IT Programs and transformation. This framework will have multiple lots that has a number of suppliers per lot. The MoD will define the lot and initial capability required but will not constrain what capability suppliers can put forward as long as it fits with the capability family under the specific lot. It is anticipated that suppliers may be successful across multiple lots.

The duration of the contract is an initial 3 years, with a value of £900 million with an option to extend to 5 years bringing the value to £1.5 billion.

The requirement has not yet been finalised. the MoD is hosting an Industry event to give potential suppliers the opportunity to better understand its requirements. This is being held 06 November.
