Newlon Housing Trust is offering a joint venture opportunity worth £196m to act as a developer partner. The objective is to carry out transformation works to the Barnsbury Estate and provide 900+ new homes in Haringey and Islington. The appointment will also include full direct management of the development, design and construction matters.

All tenderers must have prior experience in the design and construction of large scale (plus 500 dwellings) estate transformation works and Joint venture partnerships. Following the SQ, there will be a competitive dialogue with the successful 3 candates.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).

The time limit for the receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 25 October 2020. Following that, the estimated date of dispatch of invitations to tender or to participate to selected candidates is 4 November 2020.

Initial duration of the contract is 8 years.
